The Annual Westfield River Wildwater Races for 2008 are on April 19/20
The river is running full due to the large amounts of rain and snow from the Winter.
Beginners/Novices are on Saturday and people arrive around 8am and sometimes earlier as parking is tight. Registration is first come first out so arrive early. Races on this day start at the Mass DPW yard off Rt 112 near the downtown bridge.
Expert/Professional races start at the Knightville Dam and usually begin around 11am. Registration is a couple hours earlier.
