Poison Control Number
The American Association of Poison Control Centers is launching a new,
nationwide, toll-free poison control hotline. The new hotline automatically
connects callers to specially trained nurses, pharmacists and doctors at the
closest local poison center. These experts provide emergency treatment and
prevention assistance so the caller can do something immediately to help the
victim. You can also call the hotline for general information or information
packets at the new nationwide number 1-800-222-1222.
